CHALLENGE:
A well-known lighting company in North America was facing several challenges with its legacy system:
- It operated with a technologically obsolete and depreciated system.
- The visual design system for the sale of the service was old and did not allow attractive proposals to be presented to end customers.
- It did not have a fieldwork application to consolidate data captured during home-based service delivery.
- The information was not consolidated in a single data source, as each database persisted in the physical equipment of each franchise.
- The previous system required installation on each computer.
- There were no integrations between systems.
SOLUTION:
We developed a new system with the latest technologies that offers web solutions, desktop and mobile applications to meet the needs of each end user:
- We implemented a state-of-the-art lighting design creation system, allowing us to send elegant and attractive proposals to the final client.
- The new system has a mobile solution that consolidates all the information captured during field work.
- It is a comprehensive cloud-based system that consolidates real-time information into a single data source.
- Cloud solutions facilitate the installation and use of the system, eliminating the need for individual installations on each computer.
- We integrate the system with QuickBooks and Stripe to make payments and have a centralized control of customers.
RESULT:
The current system supports the operation of approximately 45 franchises and allows us to generate bids, designs, orders, dispatches, inventory control and reporting efficiently and in real time. Technological modernization has significantly improved the presentation of proposals to customers and the company's operational management.
