CHALLENGE:

Promote Colombia in tourism, investment and exports in the universal fair that takes place every five years in different countries of the world, with a duration of six months. On this occasion, the hosts were the United Arab Emirates in Dubai. Achieve impact and establish relationships with the United Arab Emirates, considering the VISION 2030 project for business exchanges. To give vision and networking scope to Colombian companies of the private sector and government with different countries of the world. To show all visitors the benefits of Colombia as the most welcoming country in the world.

ATTENDEES: 

Colombia had a 2,000 m² pavilion and more than 1.5 million visitors. The event generated business expectations of USD 59.6 million in NME exports and foreign direct investment opportunities with the potential to attract USD 600 million.

WHAT WE DID:  

We designed the creative, graphic and scenographic experience within the architectural space of the Colombia pavilion, based on a content matrix provided by Procolombia. We formed a strategic alliance with two Colombian audiovisual companies (Dirty Kitchen and Pulsar) to design the audiovisual content for the entire pavilion experience. We also established a strategic alliance with a company in the United Arab Emirates to obtain the certificates required by the bidding process (ASI). This company was the builder of the Colombia pavilion and invited us to participate in the project. In addition, we were responsible for the field implementation of the entire experience and, subsequently, we joined the Procolombia team for the production and creation of events and activations for the brands that visited the pavilion during the six months.
